Who operates Jacobs

Room Visualiser projects
When you create a Jacobs visualiser project, we collect the details you provide such as your name, email address, telephone number, postcode, project type, project timing and optional project name. We use this information to create and manage your project, control complimentary visualisation usage, provide your requested design service and follow up on your project where appropriate.
Room and generated images
Your uploaded room photograph is processed to create the requested design concept. The site does not intentionally retain the original uploaded room photograph as part of your saved project. Generated Jacobs concepts are normally available with your project for a limited period so you can return and compare them. Operational storage or backups may persist for longer where reasonably required for security, reliability or legal obligations. Visualisations are conceptual and are not measured installation drawings.
Marketing
Marketing consent is optional and is separate from the information needed to provide the visualiser service. If you choose to receive Jacobs inspiration, product news or offers, you can change your mind later by contacting us.
Service providers and security
Jacobs uses specialist website hosting, data storage and AI processing services to operate the site and create visualisations. We aim to send only the information needed to provide those services and use technical controls to restrict access to project records.
Retention and your choices
We keep project information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the project, customer service, legal or business record purposes. Access to generated visualiser concepts has a shorter configurable period than the main project record. You can ask Jacobs to correct or delete project information by contacting us through the website.
